Place your boiled snap lid on top of your salmon jar and tighten the ring only finger tip tight. Place your salmon jars into your pressure canner and seal the top of the canner. Ours is 90 minutes with 10lbs. of pressure.

Not as good as could be

I use this funnel on 5 gallon and 2.5 gallon Justrite cans for gasoline. I would not commend using the Justrite cans because of poor design and the need of using this style funnel. These funnels leak fuel when the cans are full when pouring. Once the cans get with regards to half full I had no difficulties with leaks. I have been using Eagle cans with their funnel and have had no leaks due to their funnel fitting the spout much tighter. The only reason I have any Justrite cans is because they were free. If you already have the cans these funnels will make them better but not as good as they could be.

Works fine with a Justrite container

I use this funnel with a 2-gallon Justrite diesel can. Works OK for adding fuel to my car. You need to be careful as it is easy to have spills. Being attached but also easy to remove is a huge plus. Good thing to have for owners of Justrite cans.
